Do road signs seem blurrier—even at a short distance?
When reading, do you hold the page further away to read it?
Are you suffering from a minor or major loss of vision?

Annual Wellness Eye Exams

If you answered “Yes,” to any of the questions above, you are not alone. Many people find that their vision tends to suffer more as they age. Dr. William Fruchtman O.D. is your personal optometrist in New Jersey. Our annual wellness eye exams performed at both offices can help keep your vision in the best condition possible.

For some people, vision changes may occur in childhood. For others, vision loss can start in early to middle-aged adulthood or in their senior years. This continual loss of vision can be due to aging, environmental reasons (such as prolonged computer or screen exposure), natural heredity or eye disease. In fact, if you haven’t experienced a change in your vision over the years, you’re probably in a small minority.

Whatever the reason for your loss of vision, we understand that you may be frustrated. As your New Jersey and Florida optometrist, that’s why we take the time to listen to each patient. We want to understand every aspect of your eye health so that we can restore as much vision for you as possible.

Your  New Jersey Optometrist for Better Eye Health

Some patients don’t realize that they’ve experienced a loss of vision. Unlike other parts of your body, your eyes usually don’t hurt when something is wrong. And changes can happen slowly over time, so any initial changes in eyesight may be imperceptible to you. Every year, we have patients who leave our office surprised at how much better they can see with their new prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses.
